Sandy Relief Concert

One of the greatest lineups ever assembled for a rock concert — including the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, the Who and Eric Clapton — will be at Madison Square Garden tonight for the 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy relief concert.

With widespread exposure on television, radio, web sites and movie theaters, the event will be available to about two billion people worldwide, organizers estimate. I will be blogging about the show here, and keeping a running setlist throughout the night, below.

Other artists on the bill include Roger Waters, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, Eddie Vedder and Dave Grohl.

Proceeds will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund, which supports local organizations serving families and individuals in the regions hardest hit by the storm. It has been estimated that 40 percent of the money will be used in New Jersey.
